Preparing for Irma

As Florida braces for the impact of Hurricane Irma, we want to ensure that our community is prepared for the upcoming storm. Here are some steps to take to make sure you and your family is ready.

1. Register for your county’s special needs registry. This list will provide you with important information about where special needs shelters are, how you can access them, and when they are available. You must register to be on the special needs registry annually in your county of residence.

2. Prepare a hurricane disaster kit that includes
