A person’s home should be safe and comfortable — a refuge from the outside world. As a HUD-certified Housing Counseling Agency, CIL is well-qualified to address the challenges of finding affordable, accessible housing. To that end, we offer housing counseling for low-income individuals with disabilities and their families.
Through one-on-one sessions and group workshops, we share information and resources that help our clients achieve stability, whether they’re first-time homebuyers or prospective renters. One key element of counseling is helping clients understand their protections under federal and state Fair Housing laws.
