Disabilities can add a layer of difficulty to the job search, but having a support system makes the process less intimidating. CIL empowers clients by:
- Helping to identify employment goals
- Sharing job research techniques
- Offering referrals to relevant jobs
- Advocating to potential employers on their behalf
- Providing workforce-readiness training
- Following up with ongoing support
In addition, we help clients understand their rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
CIL partners with the Business Advisory Council of Central Florida (BAC), a group of business leaders representing local industries that are dedicated to providing job opportunities to people with disabilities.
