Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in learning more about the programs and services that CIL provides to individuals with disabilities.
What to Bring: If you are interested in an amplified telephone, please bring your Florida ID with you.
Information and Referral: Our staff provides information to consumers on a wide array of disability-related issues, as well as referrals to other resources in the community.
Nursing Home Transition: A program that allows nursing home residents to transition back into the community with necessary services.
Emergency Preparedness: CIL will assist in the preparation of individual emergency preparedness plans tailored to individual situations, taking into account the clients capabilities and limitations.
Home Modifications: We provide assistance for qualified individuals to improve access in their homes or vehicles, which may include ramps, widening doorways, and installing grab bars.
Florida Hardest Hit: A government-funded program that provides financial relief to borrowers who are losing their homes or facing foreclosure due to unemployment or underemployment.
Florida Telecommunications, Relay, Inc.: A program that offers FREE amplified telephones to Florida residents who are hearing impaired. Bring your Florida ID with you to be eligible to receive your new phone!
