    Stroll ‘n’ Roll

What’s it like to use a wheelchair? Find out – and raise much-needed dollars for people with disabilities – by taking part in Stroll ‘n’ Roll. Click here to visit the Orlando Stroll N’ Roll site.

A team-based fundraising event similar to a walkathon, Stroll ‘n’ Roll rallies Central Floridians to help break down barriers that affect people with disabilities. Each team will be given a wheelchair, so team members can take turns rolling or walking around the path. This event is open to the public and inclusive of everyone, with or without disabilities.

There’s no minimum fundraising amount, but most teams find it easy to raise at least $100. The funds raised help people with disabilities live independently by funding employment services, housing counseling and accessibility services like wheelchair-ramp building.

     Rampage

Go on a Rampage – for a good cause! Rampage is a one-day wheelchair-ramp building event that draws volunteers from all over Central Florida to build ramps for people with disabilities who have difficulty getting in and out of their homes. Rampage 2013 will be on February 23, 2013!

    How Can You Help?

You can help make Rampage 2013 the best year yet! The Center for Independent Living is strong because of the contributions of people like you.

Donate – wonderful events like Rampage are possible because of the donations from our community and the generosity of our sponsors. We buy in bulk, rely on volunteers, and all money donated goes directly to helping those in need. Your donation means a life of independence for another person.

Volunteer – the Center For Independent Living’s strength lies in the support of our volunteers. We rely on volunteers to build the ramps, support us with administrative duties, and actively participate in the support of those in need. Fill out the volunteer form, or call Jason Venning (407-623-1070) for more information
